A while back I wrote about life seeds. Moments that happen to you that stick with you and grow into something more later on in life. I’d like to continue with the analogy.
A lot of time and effort goes into tending a garden to get good results. Tilling the soil, planting the seeds, fertilizing, watering and weeding. It takes time and effort to enjoy the fruits of your labor. But it’s all the sweeter for the effort that went in to it. The same is true for positive changes in your life. It can take a lot to make a good change, but it feels great to accomplish a goal and you should take time to enjoy it.
However, a garden will grow fallow if not tended, no matter how well constructed. Plants will not continue to bear fruit indefinitely. That same is true of life. You need to keep up with the positive changes to continue seeing the results and not fall back into bad habits and see you hard work either away.
